Please Help Your Costa Mesa CA Neighbor in a Time of Need!

A MESSAGE FROM DIANE BEAZLEY

Our dear friend and neighbor, Lisa Salyer, can use your kindness and generosity.

Her 11-year-old special needs son, Colin, will be coming home soon after 3 weeks in ICU for an emergency surgery to remove his large intestines resulting in a permanent colostomy. He will require nursing care (not covered by Lisa's insurance), medical supplies and other special needs.

For those that don't know Lisa, she is a vibrant mother of four, self-employed, generous with her time and talents, and a dedicated friend and PTA president for Killybrooke Elementary.

She will be holding a garage and bake sale at her house this Saturday to help raise funds for Colin's medical bills.

Garage & Bake Sale for Colin

Saturday, August 28

8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

3050 Killybrooke Lane, Costa Mesa

Ways to show Lisa our support:

  • Pass this email on to your friends and family
  • Bring treats for the bake sale (by Saturday morning 8 a.m.)
  • Donate items for the garage sale (drop-off anytime this Friday at Lisa's house)
  • Make a contribution at the garage sale or mail directly to Chase Bank, c/o Colin Murphy, 1455 Baker Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
  • Drop off a gas or grocery gift card... Lisa is making daily trips to Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles.

Thank you to our wonderful neighbors and friends for rallying around Lisa and her family.

Lisa has asked that you call or email me with any questions.

Many thanks,

Diane Beazley

The Home Buyer Tax Credit is Expiring Soon: You Must Act Now to Take Advantage of This Benefit!

http://www.mortgageporter.com/reportingfromseattle/images/2008/08/06/unclesam.jpg The U.S. government’s home buyer tax credit was extended to April 30, 2010 and it will not be extended again. This tax credit can benefit first-time home buyers up to $8,000 and current homeowners up to $6,500, provided they meet certain guidelines. And because this program is a tax credit — it does not have to be repaid. There has never been a better time to take advantage of this tax credit because hundreds of homes are priced below market value. If you have a family member or friend who could benefit from learning more about this program, please have them call me for a free one-hour consultation so we can discuss how they may be able to take advantage of this benefit. Larry Weichman, Your Real Estate Consultant For Life http://TeamWeichman.com , 714-241-4532 P.S. This program expires soon! Who are the next renters, growing families, or empty-nesters you know who should learn about this program?
